I'm calling this koa tenor “Classic" because it has exactly qhat you would expect from a Koa ukulele. I has colorful woodgrain, a little bit of curl and a tone that is warm and sweet.
The back matches the front.
The center strip is East Indian rosewood that matches the binding.
The wood is so shiny that I had to turn it a little so I would get my refection in the uke.

The accents are a very pretty Coolibah burl.
A little bit of sapwood gives a nice accent to the sides.

The neck is Honduran Mahogany with a carbon fiber truss rod.
The fingerboard and bridge are East African Ebony. Nut and saddle are natural water buffalo bone.
The tuners are gold Gotoh Planetary tuners.

Here a picture of the light side strip along with a very attractive curl. There is a side sound port so the player can hear their music a little better.
You can see the side purfling if you click on the picture to make it bigger.

The rosette and purfling are Paua Abalone with thin black and white striping around the borders.
The head stock is Koa.
